The AMS (Acoustic Marine Systems) sonars are owned and operated by Williamson and Associates, Houston, Texas. The AMS-60, AMS-120 and AMS-150 sonars are seafloor mapping systems capable of generating sidescan imagery and "interference fringe" bathymetry over swath widths of 1000 to 2500 meters, in water depths of up to 6000 meters.
