The EdgeTech FS-AU (2200 series) digital sidescan systems are manufactured by EdgeTech Inc., of Massachusetts and Florida.

The 2200 series sidescan offers a modular solution ideal for integration on an existing AUV, ROV or other body, where no "towfish" is required or convenient.

OIC interfaces to the FS-AU 2200 through EdgeTech's Discover software, which runs in the background in "server mode" on the same PC as GeoDAS-PC/ET4K.

As all the FS-AU systems also record data in their native EdgeTech JSF format, OIC supports post-acquisition processing and mosaicking of data from these systems via OICcleansweep. Early versions of the FS-AU systems recorded in a proprietary EdgeTech (.et) format, which was also supported by GeoDAS-Desktop. Interface pending for acquisition.
